Request for Opinions - Ability to Display True/Magnetic Headings in the Mission Editor

In one of the polls I did, someone suggested being about to display True/Magnetic headings in the Mission Editor. I wanted to get some opinions how how you would like to see this and where. Also do you want this for aircraft only or anything?

Please only discuss this, all other discussions will be deleted without warning. Thanks!

If anywhere, I'd place it in the map ruler. We'll be able to see it at will anywhere. A separate input field would be an unnecessary complication, but you may also add a read only label showing either near an input heading field -- similar thing to IAS, TAS and GS information.

This feature may be useful for most hardcore mil-sim guys, to me such errors/deviations are insignificant. I can calculate them myself or take them into account, when needed.

True Course (TC) +/- Mag Var (MV) = Mag Course (MC) ... I'd also like to see the Magnetic Variation displayed to the right of the coordinate format on the taskbar of where you have placed the cursor crosshairs.

I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) :pilotfly:

It would be nice to be able to see both the magnetic heading and the true heading (or would grid heading not be more accurate for DCS?), and/or the magnetic variation. The same would apply to the F10 map.  Personally I don't mind if it is a switched option (like the different options in the coordinate system), or am option to display both headings at once.

All of the things/suggestion are already stated above by everyone, so, +1 here for adding TRUE/MAG in ME.

At minimum, I'd like to see it shown when using the ruler in the map.

Personally, that's all I need to see.... again, personally.

Flight routing is based on ranges and magnetic headings (ignoring GPS waypoints). So I would like to see this on the F10 map as well, not just a feature of the ME.

As far as display... just give me a heading with parenthesis and "M" aka:

14.5nm : 245° (230° M)

(15 declination for say NTTR, where it's a massive impact to have this visible)
