The one immediately to the left of dcs.log.old.

If you go to the "View" menu and select "File name extensions", it should show as "dcs.log"

I'll never understand, why Microsoft did never reverse the stupid decision, to hide the file extensions, by default.

It makes it hard to identify files, causes problems with changing file extensions and ultimately is a security risk, as it's easy for malicious scripts or executable files to hide their extension or fake a harmless one...

I started using the A-10 again yesterday , but noticed I don't hear my engines at all inside the bird only from the outside.
Some say it maybe Core causing or has anyone else had this problem with a solution please.

Check your audio settings. There are two separate sound outputs for the cockpit/helmet and environment.

Both need to have your desired audio output selected, normally speakers or headset.

Also there is a "Hear like in helmet" option, that dampens non radio comms sounds, but their should still be audible engine noise etc. With this on. Though if your volume is dialed down you may miss it.

Thanks, Shagrat. Yes, it can help.

And I see there many sound errors in your log. You have some installed sound mods, they produce these errors. Search "ERROR   SOUND:" lines. And maybe try to clean up your DCS folder
