Windows Hibernation Disables Force Feedback

Recommended Posts

This may be a pretty unique bug but it's critical to my use of DCS World so wanted to report.

Some missions are very long and I have real world things to do, so after playing a little while I'll pause the sim and hibernate the PC. This works with all games just fine, including DCS World, except for force feedback on my Sidewinder FFB II.

When resuming the mission after awaking from hibernation, my hotas and joystick inputs work fine, however the joystick is now limp. FFB has been completely disabled. This makes finishing the mission now impossible 😞 .

Has this happened to anyone else or anyone think of a fix for this? It's the only issue I now have that stops me from playing many of my favorite missions. Cheers!
