Can you still trial a module for 2 weeks for free?

Hi folks,

I remember some months ago we were allowed to try a new module for 2 weeks or so without having to buy it up-front. Is this still the case? I can't see any option for this in the e-shop. I don't mean the free for all months. I mean there was actually a free trial period for each module?

Thanks!

Our trial system allows you evaluate all of our modules (aircraft and maps) for 14 days.

You can play each module sequentially for 14 days or any number of them at a time. Once you have ‘consumed’ the 14 days, you will be given another 14 day free trial period for all modules six months later. Enjoy the offer and please tell your friends!

access the free trial here

Not available for steam sorry, you will need to use the stand alone version for this free trial

I've been trying to activate the trial period on the L-39 but it just won't work.

If you are on Steam it wont work, only Standalone version has trials. Once every six months per aircraft. And some planes are not available on trial yet, mostly new ones. It's up to the developer to put them on trial.

The L39 module says 9 days left on the trial. I have trialed other mods before and I am not on steam. Can't figure it out.

Go to module manager, download it and fly.

Well, before when I 'trialed' an a/c there was a little red number (I think) on the module manager square, but this time I had to switch the little button from left to right, got a window said I must restart and when I did that the L-39 appeared in my list. Did they change how this works? Anyway, tks for the tip, it got me going in the right direction.

No, you did it to yourself. You had it already installed and then just disabled the module (the switch does that).
