M11 Shamrock shot down by SAM

I just flew the last mission, 4vUNK where we are tasked to protect F-4 strike aircraft. We got to gate 4, and 3 and 4 continued on, while 1 & 2 and shamrock remained circling above gate 4. When going through the SAM-range no SAMs were fired at my flight, however, checking TACVIEW later Shamrock flight which was circling gate 4 was fired upon, and one of them was shot down. I don't think that is supposed to happen...

Another issue, according to the briefing the F-5s were supposed to simulate MiG 21s with rear aspect missiles only. However the F-5s are armed with AIM-9P5s which are all aspect missiles, and they do make forward quarter missile shots during the mission. Don't know if it's the briefing which is wrong, or the arming of the F-5s.

OK, checked, Shamrock is set to both invisible and immortal, so the SAMs should be able to see or harm them. Maybe a new DCS bug that ignores some settings?

Clearly the mission is super duper bugged because a few seconds later that is TOTALLY not me in my Tomcat also getting hit by an SA-2. No sir, nothing to see there. At all. /s

That's got to be a DCS bug, as Shamrock is invisible, so SAMs should not see them, and they're immortal too, so even if they're hit, they should go on.
@[ED]Obi perhaps a new but with the DCS AI ignoring these tasks?

Entire Shamrock flight was shot down just today by SAMs.

Ah, thanks for the report. I tested again and caught a bug. Even though they are set to invisible and immortal, they aren't until they finish orbiting. So now I applied a fix/ workaround, and will send it to ED.
