I play from the UK, and I usually have about 140-150 ping. I haven't had any problems, and never had people complain about me. Someone is going to have higher ping and some people are going to have lower ping, just the nature of multiplayer games. If you are only willing to play with ping below a certain level then you may want to check out Alpenwolf's server which is based in Western Europe.
