Did the AH64 have an IR search light as well? AH-64D's normally didn't have NVG position lights as part of their production standard, only AH-64E does. AH-64D's would sometimes be retrofitted temporarily with such position lights for certain areas, but it required removing the visible position lights. AH-64's have never had any IR search lights. I'm only speaking US models though. I don't have any definitive answers regarding export models. 2 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man.
