battlingmaxo
I am running win 7. I have read that DCS 2.7 will no longer be supporting win 7. DCS 2.5.6 will work. I can't find a link for that olde version. Does someone know? Thanks

Shaman
The gentleman send you a complete guide how to use DCS_Updater.exe commands to download any of the legacy versions of DCS, it also contained a link to the updater itself which was here http://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer
Art-J
Not sure if the guide will help - I seem to recall 2.5.6 files were pulled off the ED servers some time ago? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
Svsmokey
If you're that easily discouraged , maybe DCS is not for you Should you change your mind , below is a link to a GUI utility that obviates the need for command lines . First download the current version of DCS , then revert to the version you want with the utility . 1 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2
battlingmaxo
I am not discouraged at all. I develop aquarium sims. I spend so much time in front of a computer screen, I just wanted something super easy and quick. Thanks though. http://3dfishworld.x10host.com Edited March 12, 2022 by battlingmaxo

DCS is anything but easy and quick. 20 hours ago, Art-J said: I seem to recall 2.5.6 files were pulled off the ED servers some time ago. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Shortly after 2.7 was released, I tried to download 2.5.6 and you are right, it has been removed from the server. IDK if they have put it back up though. joey45
Will it even install on Win 7???? Like many have said... 'Super easy and quick' and 'DCS' do not belong in the same sentence. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
