DCS 2.7.11 - VR cursor persists too long

Recommended Posts

As per today's patch, the 2nd VR cursor (the blue "+" sign) persists way too long after you stop moving the mouse. It doesn't move upon head movement, but is stays visible and can even grow in size if the cursor was last active on a surface that's not perpendicular to your eye-line (I don't know how else to explain this; on a surface where the left and right side are not at the same distance from your eyes) for example the surface on the right side where your lower leg is in the Falcon's cockpit.

I have this too. The blue cursor just freezes in the position it would have disappeared in previous builds. It is a bit annoying!

Same experience here as well, has prevented the use of mouse controls on the hotas as it's no longer slaved to the HMD movement.

edit: managed to get it slaved to the HMD now but it's still persistent (no hiding).

@BIGNEWY Any chance you can ask the team to look at this issue. It's quite frustrating and incredibly simple to reproduce?

Same problem, the blue + cursor does not disappear anymore until reactivated by moving the mouse again, but stays visible. Happens since yesterdays update. Kinda ruins the immersion in VR when a blue + is continuously visible.

I am curious nobody is responding to us... it seems like a new bug for sure...

It is really annoying, especially at night where the cursor's blue cross remains very visible and very bright in the cockpit...

I hope it gets fixed in the next hotfix... or else, I was wondering if they had introduced a key command that is yet undocumented? (I tried to look through the controls menu to find a new binding but was unsuccessful...)
