Baco
Hi, being in EDs court, can you guys estimate a date of release yet or are you still testing? Congrats on the Apache, Stunning module and best launch video ever... But not my cup of tea, so i am eagerly waiting for other modules...

VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants
Sorry about possible rant: I am not sure which one was submitted first, but it seems to me that the Mirage is very close to release while we are in the dark what is going on with the MB. I hope one day we also get Mirage III -- this is a far more important plane than M2000C in my book. Imagine it flies missions together with A-4E-C. VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants -- this is how I fly. As far as I can remember the MB339 was sent before the MirageF1 for ED to test. This delay must be because it must not have passed quality control and they must be fixing it to be approved. 3 |Motherboard|: Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS, |WaterCooler|: Corsair H115i Pro, |CPU|: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, |RAM|: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3200MHz DDR4, |SSD|: Kingston A2000 500GB M.2 NVMe, |SSD|: Kingston 2.5´ 480GB UV400 SATA III, |SSHD|: Seagate Híbrido 2TB 7200RPM SATA III, |GPU|: MSI Gaming 980Ti, |Monitor|: LG UltraWide 34UM68, |Joystick 1|: Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog, |Joystick 2|: T.Flight Rudder Pedals, |Head Motion|: TrackIr 5. TLTeo
My pet theory is that since IFE want to have a full release immediately rather than going into EA, the standards for release are much higher and there are definitely tricky things they need to overcome (like full multicrew functionality).
Gianky
Whatever is the truth, I believe will have an update tomorrow (if not an official release announcement), given the significance of the date. Wacko_ZA
keeping in mind the Apache, MB 339 and F1 are all from separate developers, this might not be the best place to discuss releases. But me thinks we will be getting the F1 in the next OB update, so April somewhere. the 339 is IFE's first module, so testing, and issues arising that need repair may be a bit more far reaching.

I was hopping to see the MB 339 soonish, but yeah I believe the standard" for full release si harder to meet. One way or another its going to be one grate module to have. Baco
In the end its a niche module, those players who want to fly what their air forces or navies used are going to buy it if its good. And its a very interesting air frame to fly too. It was widely exported too so I guess it will have its fair share of buyers. Also a very popular Acrobatic plane. Also people who would like to support the Studio so they can make other planes they might like. I bought the c-101 and never ever flew it, i did it because i Want Aerges to have funds and motivation to finish the F1, and in the future who knows maybe an F-4C, who knows. In the same manner I will buy the MB 339, not only because i will have the perfect fit: South Atlantic Map, that includes real location of Argentinian naval bases and an Argentinian trainer light attack plane that was the Workhorse of the 1ra Escuadrilla de Caza y Ataque. I I consider that a real privilege. But Also I am very eager to have a G.91 in sim. and every sale of the MB 339 will help on that endeavour.. And we can always dream maybe they can tackle the AMX next

And we can always dream maybe they can tackle the AMX next I initially bought the C-101 for the same reason, but I have to say that it now is one of my dearest modules (with the M2k and the Tomcat). It just flies nicely and it has so many features, like it's own GPU and CBs that can be pulled. Plus it flies really nice (albeit a little underpowered) AND you can kill your engine my mishandling it. I really suggest you take some time and fly this little gem, though it might not be as sexy as all the other whizz-bang modules. I kind of like trainers. I'd love to have one of the countless, little talked about african regional conflichts modelled, where trainers are taking important missions. As for Aerges, I'd rather like to see them do the Mirage IIIEE (very close to the M IIIE). The MB339 and G91 will both quickly find their way onto my HD. Hopefully the Gina will kick down the door to the Recce-Room. An AMX would also be quite awesome. 4 So ein Feuerball, JUNGE!
Gianky
Since the bet about the Italian Air Force anniversary didn't pay out, we need a new hypotesis about which to obsess, however short lived it may be! So, today it's newsletter day, which means possible announcements day! Tomorrow will be 40 years since the Argentinians took the Falkland/Malvinas and both the South Atlantic terrain and the MB-339 are linked to that war: will their release be announced today?

I know it has its fans, but it's still pretty niche. I agree with you that this plane is going to have to be absolutely top shelf+ quality, otherwise, you know... why? 1 Some of the planes, but all of the maps! I think it definately has it's place and it's used by several air forces around the world, especially if you consider the MB 326 lineage. For some, it's the only fast jet they can afford or are willing to pay the bucks for. I don't see the trainers as "niche" - at least not more so than the whizz-bang-I-need-a-PhD-to-fly-this modules. Another cool jet that is somewhat sidelined (yet pretty important if you ask me) is the Super Étendard. 4 So ein Feuerball, JUNGE!
