Hummingbird
As the title says, the DCS Viper is currently unable to hit the negative 3 G that the real aircraft is capable of as pr. its performance manual. This is irrespective of load out, speed or altitude. Hence it's easily reproducable, and therefore not in need of a track. Hummingbird
Ok, I'll provide one tomorrow then. Although I don't really see why it's necessary, considering it's there all the time and the devs will see it right away if they test it.
LJQCN101
It's probably be reported as it was acknowledged by Bignewy: EFM / FCS developer, Deka Ironwork Simulations.
ED Team NineLine Posted March 20, 2022 ED Team Share Posted March 20, 2022 We are very busy right now, and honestly most pilots do not enjoy messing with negative G's, you can supply a track where you think a pilot might consider that, but please read up on negative G's they are not pleasant. As such, I don't think this will be a high priority for the team, rather a review of how negative G's and how the game represents them would be better suited here. Contact409
This is not what might pilot to consider, is about simulating the proper FLCS response. Good thing that we`ve seen here is not "Correct as is" , because we know the G-onset issue was marked as "Correct as is" Thanks for the team, they did a good job, but it`s not done yet. To be fair with the amount of bug posts on the forums, if the devs had to load up the sim and test something every time instead of viewing a track that shows the problem it could easily add huge amounts of time to their work. 2 Awaiting: DCS F-15C Win 10 i5-9600KF 4.6 GHz 64 GB RAM RTX2080Ti 11GB -- Win 7 64 i5-6600K 3.6 GHz 32 GB RAM GTX970 4GB -- A-10C, F-5E, Su-27, F-15C, F-14B, F-16C missions in User Files

Thanks for understanding, this is exactly it, tracks are for 2 reasons, 1, to see exactly what a user is doing, 2, to save time with all the reports we get. =OPS=Slider
Let's start with negative G. The maximum negative G I was able to hit was -1.7, which is wrong, and should be -3.2. Another thing during negative G flight, the engine doesn't flameout. Hydraulic/oil pressure does go down, appropriate caution light comes on, and that's it. You can keep flying with negative G as long as you like. According to some document, the limits of negative G flight are: -AB Thrust - 10 seconds, -MIL Thrust or below - 30 seconds
