Japo32 Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 I have the TPR thrustmaster, and sometimes when I force trim the controls (option in center joystick and pedals) the 3D pedals (in the cockpit) are stuck even I press them in my real pedals. I have to press a little to one side (that side is the one that can make the 3D ones move a little, so they will be unstuck). I have not this problem with any other helicopter.
Razor18 Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 For the pedal trim option, choose "no springs no ffb". Unless I misunderstood something.

It sounds like you are using Central Position Trimmer mode for your pedals. Try using INSTANT TRIM (FFB Friendly) or the option that Razor18 stated above. Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head
Razor18 Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 If you use instant trim for pedal, you will be kicking back and forth at every trimming, won't you?
Mausar Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 I have similar problem because I have rudder on rotary and it was a nightmare until I didn't select Pedals without spring and FFB. Now it works as it should.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted March 20, 2022 ED Team Posted March 20, 2022 Hi, please ensure you are selecting the correct pedal option for your real pedals in the special option menu for the AH-64D Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Japo32 Posted March 20, 2022 Author Posted March 20, 2022 (edited) My pedals don't have ffb, so I chose the center one. If i choose the without spring and ffb, there won't any trim applied to the pedals, that is ok in this problem as I never would have that stuck problem, but I would need to be pushing all the time the pedals with my legs... so it is unconfortable. I have no issues with the trim of the pedals. I understand that the new 3D center don't match my real pedal center and I would be able to reach the full motion of the 3D while I totally push my right or left pedal physically, I am ok with that. My problem is that sometimes.. it is stuck. they don't move even I move my feet on my pedals... and that is what it wouldn't supposed to work. I am not talking about when the 3D pedals are in the maximun range and I apply the new center to that position. No. I is maybe with just a little push of one of the pedals. For example.. apply a little left pedal push maintaining the left pedal 60% applied (10% in) and the right 40% (10% out). If I try to push the left pedal, then SOMETIMES the 3D pedals won't move.... so I need to push a little the right pedal to allow some kind of movement so they unstuck in the 3D. If I would apply the ffb friendly to the pedals only, I don't now how it would work with the joystick center option for trim, as it is the one solution I like for the cyclic. PlainSight Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Sometimes this happens with cyclic as well. It gets stuck in position until I move the stick around to unfreeze it. 1 [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Japo32 Posted March 20, 2022 Author Posted March 20, 2022 (edited) Same happens here, and two friends have same problem. With the joystick also (I never had a problem with the joystick) Edited March 20, 2022 by Japo32
