After tuning into BATUMI NDB (BAT 430) - or any other NDB - the needle shows direct to that station, BUT no sound (morse code) is played! Even the test-tone is not played. CMWS and ADF audio run on the same line, so you won't hear the ADF tones unless set to NAV. Check this video at the timestamp.
