Steam authorization failed HIND module

Hi everybody,

please forgive me if i start another STEAM discussion.

I bought several modules (AH64D, Viper, AC10II, Persian, Syria, Nevada, Flaming Cliffs) and I decided to give a try to HIND module but that wasn't for me (sorry about that) so, asked (and got) refund from Steam.

Problem is that everytime i launch dcs on steam i got a box saying that Hind authorizazion will last for 2 days, 23hrs...

I searched "AUTHORIZATION ERRORS" section in this forum and for steam users it's enough remove the module from library, but this module in no longer in my library since it was refunded (it's been authomatically removed).

Is there a kind soul that could help to fix this small problem?

Thanks a lot!

Hi

you need to remove the module from your install. Try doing a verify in steam and make sure the DLC area in steam no longer shows the module.

Thanks a lot and pls excuse me. I'm new here. This evening i'll try what you said and, in case, I'll refer to links you gave me.

@BIGNEWY

Problem solved!

This may be helpful for other newbies with my same issue.

Steam DLC library wasn't showing the module but there were still a folder with Hind files (quite big. about 3Gb).

Once deleted it, DCS launch works very fine!

Thank!!
