Clear Windscreen?

The Front Windscreen that the pilot looks out of is a bit hazy to me.  I'm assuming this is the DDS transparency becoming more visible since it's at a shallower angle compared to, say, the side windows.  This make any sense?

Are there some files I can modify to change this?  I tired the "reflect" DDS files...made them all completely transparent, but no change.  Maybe something on the outside of the model?

And yes, I know this is a REALLY low thing to complain about.

I have the same issue, at night using ANVIS is worse and i´m not using any shader mod. It looks that it happens on some illumination situations, not all, for example it happens on the quick start mission on Syria that calls "Express... something", can´t remember the name exactly

@BIGNEWY While we're at it....

any chance, that you guys review the scratch patterns on canopies (on all modules) at some point? They are pretty unrealistic. Not in the way, they interact with light - that is pretty cool actually -, but the pattern is usually way to dense and repetitive.

Just a humble suggestion. Perhaps it can land a place somewhere down the to-do-list.

That's a separate screen between the two cockpits, afaik. Depending on the angle you look at it, it's reflecting some light, it seems.

I've noticed it myself as well, but with the explanation above, I had shrugged it off as "realism". ^^

If you are speaking about the three panels by the CPG then yes under certain lighting conditions especially on the Caucus map they are impossible to see out of. It looks like they are fogged up but it's the dynamic lighting dependent on time of day and also cloud cover I've found. The CPG's front window is crystal clear and there doesn't seem to be issues with the pilots side windows.

On the Caucus map I've found the trees are almost impossible to see through those windows under certain lighting conditions. Would be interesting to see if it's possible to mod them a bit to improve visibility.
