■ABOUT US■

We are a North American based group operating primarily in the evening hours between the PST and EST timezones, but we accept applicants from all over the world as long as they can adapt to our schedule. We try to operate as close to real world standards and tactics as we can without the burden of turning our DCS hobby into a full time job.

■SCHEDULE■

•MAIN MISSION NIGHT:
 Typically Friday or Saturday evenings

•PUBLIC SERVER RAID:
 Saturday evenings if no other events are scheduled

•DACT/BFM/ACM DROP-IN:
 Sunday evenings (bi-weekly)

•A2G/CAS/RANGE DROP-IN:
 Sunday evenings (bi-weekly)

•CASE-1,2,3 & LSO DROP-IN:
 Tuesday evenings (bi-weekly) 

•Impromptu flights and training happens sporadically in between the above events.

 

■FLY WHAT YOU WANT■

The 51st VFW doesn't have any policy that restricts members to a single airframe. All pilots can fly whatever they feel like depending on theirr mood, but we ask our members to specialize in one primary aircraft so that we can sort them into an appropriate sub-squadron for organizational purposes, and to spend the majority of your time in that primary airframe.

 

■SERVER■

Our server hosts detailed sandbox style missions for the Persian Gulf, Syria, NTTR and Marianas that feature MOOSE scripting for enhanced naval ops, integrated air defense networks with realistic SAM placements, scripted weapons ranges, civilian and military traffic, as well as persistent weather and save states, ATIS, and LOTATC integration for human controlled ATC, AWACS, and GCI.

 

■REQUIREMENTS■

•Fluent in English.
•Over 18 years old.
•Have some form of HOTAS.
•Have some form of head tracking.
•Latest version of DCS Open Beta.
•Simple Radio / SRS.

• AH-64D and/or other helos
• F-16C
• F/A-18C
• AJS37
• LOTATC
• [F-15E Eventually]

F/A-18C and F-16C slots are currently FULL/WAITLIST and A-10C II slots are getting close!

We are most in need of F-14B, AV-8B, AJS37, LOTATC, and all Helos,
