RWC
I stumbled upon a great website with all the fighter pilot abbreviations, setup by a retired fighter pilot. Sure thing there are alot of terms used in the air- and ground force we don't even know about ! So here it is and i hope it will be a usefull tool for everyone. Also, there are great podcasts available on different subjects going on in the air- and groundforce , like on the Supercarrier or with Air traffic control and much much more. https://www.fighterpilotpodcast.com/glossary/ https://www.fighterpilotpodcast.com Hope you will enjoy and find it usefull ! Cmptohocah
Was this really written by a fighter-pilot? For "angels" it says "height of aircraft in thousands of feet" which is not correct. Should say "...friendly aircraft..." Cmptohocah=CMPTOHOCAH

What does Angels mean in military? angels: refers to altitude measured in 1,000s of feet; angels 35 is equivalent to 35,000 feet.

Yes, but it's only used for friendly aircraft. 1 Cmptohocah=CMPTOHOCAH
