F86 Mission 4 Extra Extra, landing difficulty

Hello, I've bought the F86 and the campaign on the last sale, and dont regret it.

I like flying the plane and the story is well written. i'm on the mission 6 so far, but I had very hard time on the mission 4.

I know that the relic museum is an old campaign and DCS have change a lot since the release, but now on the 2.7.11 version, landing on the mission 4 is very very hard because of the fog, ( wich look bad on 2.7...) and there is no light on the runway.

I have made nearby 10 attempt to land the plane, I always miss the runway.

So the question is:  i'm missing something  or there  is a bug somewhere ?

I've open the mission in the editor and remove the fog, looks better, and landing is easier, but can't save.

With the weather having been updated in the core of DCS, I had changed it to a setting that I was happy with, but it may have further changed since then as that was a little while ago now.  
Seems like you have the approach down pretty well.   In the video posted below, I shoot the approach at the end of it.   Not sure if it would help, but figured I'd link it anyway.

I'll replay this mission and follow your aproach.

In the mission the visibility is much worse than in the video but I'll give a try
