reported Lowering brightness when open popup window

Hi, after last update when i open 2d popup brightness in DCS goes down. Here is examples:

Hey NS430 forum,

 

I wanted to make this post but I see I'm not the only one. I recently bought the NS430 on sale (like 4 days ago) and my whole game gets darker when I open up the NS430. The darkness doesn't disappear when I close it again and can't be fixed to normal by upping the gamma slider in the options. I hope someone is aware or someone knows how to fix this... This is quite a problem and the mod isn't usable this way.

I also noticed it appears to be worse in the Syria map than Caucasus as an example.

Yep, same story here. Something broke the lighting with NS430.

Hi I just tried using the 430 with the SU25T during a night mission. It seemed to randomly dim the HUD and interior lights along with the NS430 itself when open. Anyone else see something similar?

same problem for me, night flight impossible, i need te get out et get in server to reset the problem. but no problem with the 3d version in mi8 only the pop up version

Same here, no problem in L-39 with 3D model

It is not possible to fly at night with the 2d window on. There is complete darkness. There are no problems when using the 3D model in the L-39 and Mi-8. However, without the turned on the 2d window, it became very troublesome and even impossible to fly at night.

Wasn't sure what had caused it but it all makes sense now.

 

@Scott-S6 - Haven't found any info on exporting the 430, are you able to share what you know?

When will this be fixed, also in 2.8, NS430 overlay causes HUUGE loss of FPS.

Guys, for a paid addon from ED shop this thing just doesnt work at all properly anymore.... Fix it or remove this product from the ED store!

I've been having this issue for some time now, and has gotten even worse with 2.8. Good to know I'm not alone in my struggles. This needs to be fixed as it has been a problem for nearly a year now.
