Performance boost with modified NVIDIA driver install with NVclean

This is pretty cool, I didnt know the NVclean exists to remove all the NVIDIA driver bloat. Even if you do a custom install with the default NVidia drivers and omit all extra options, Nvidia will install additional software. This tool helps to really strip anything but the drivers from the install package.

There's already people providing cleaned up drivers, no need to go through that level of pain.

I’ve had absolutely no problems with updating the NVidia Drivers through NVidia GeForce Experience. I always do the Custom/clean install.

Okay yeah true but I don’t concentrate on perf numbers not unless is really serious and I can feel it. I have been tuned in with my HP G2 for over a year now and I don’t see or feel perf hits. But your right especially for lower spec systems.

I never install Geforce Experience and only install the drivers themselves. Seems to always work fine for me.

what I do as well.  Also, I do not install the HD audio either...   just the Driver and PhsyX

Don't forget all you people with a 3090 saying 'I don't bother and don't notice a difference', gaining 1ms from debloating the GPU drivers can make a significant difference to a 3070.

I've never installed anything other than phsyx and the GPU driver and still gained a small amount of uplift from this. Incremental gains means you can get significant performance from mid-range hardware

Tried this today for the first time and I really like the idea, however it appears to stop FpsVR from running. I suspect one of the components culled from the package needs to be present.

Be interested. Not used FpsVR in a while, but seems a little coincidental.
