SlyBelle Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Can you fire a missile and then immediately move until the next target and fire anothe missile and then etc. Or do you have to keep the single target locked until the missile hits and then move on to your next target?
ZaltysZ Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Missile goes where your laser points to. If you move target designator while missile is in flight, it will change direction. So, yes, you need to wait for hit before changing target. Wir sehen uns in Walhalla.
CAT_101st Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Not to mention that the laser shuts off after 20 seconds for cool down +6 seconds. besides The weapons wont let you fire a second missle after 1st launch. nemises Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 ..Allthough you can launch mutltiple (well...2) missles at a single target at the same time ...they'll ride the same target beam
CAT_101st Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 yes when weapons set to long mode. FedEx Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 (edited) You can fire one missile and give the first missile some flight time before you can shoot the second one. Then when the first one impact you can switch to the next target as fast as you can and the next missile will ride that beam but remember to give each missile enought seperation in flight. I do this in the 25T on Flaming Clifts with multiple targets. Also remember the targets can't be to far away from each other then the missile will lose the beam. RvEYoda Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 (edited) Aha, so there is a way to ripple fire Vikhrs, i didn't know, thanks :) Useful perhaps if you want to go overkill mode on a single target Edited December 20, 2008 by =RvE=Yoda S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'

Not in Black Shark! You can fire 2 Vikhrs but not more, you have to forget missile spamming like it is in FC. After theirs hit, you can fire next one. :D Edited December 20, 2008 by Boberro Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... GGTharos Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 None of this shooting at 5 sec intervals and walking on the targets in Ka-50. The Vikhr simply does not work this way.
