3DArtistExtreme Posted May 3, 2022 Share Posted May 3, 2022 (edited) Combined Arms does have an amazing potential in VR, it only needs a proper rework to match the current level of DCS modules. Current VR implementation is bugged and scopes are broken. This mod attempts to fix most scopes and tweaks few other parameters. Calibration of the scopes is done on HP Reverb G2. I hope this fix works on other VR headsets as well. You will need to recenter your headset upon entry of the vehicle, and before shooting the target (for the best precision). A list of vehicles that have been calibrated and checked, but not limited to! RED: BMP-2, BMP-3, BTR-82, SA-19 Tunguska, T-72, T-80, T-90, ZSU-23, Grad, Smerch, Tor, Osa. BLUE: AAV-7, LAV-25, Bradley, Linebacker, Avenger, HMMWV TOW, Challenger, Merkava, Leopard, M1A2, Palading, MLRS, Stryker ATGM, Gepard. Download link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ru/files/3322209/ CA_VR_HUD_FIX_v1.2.rar Installation: -If you have 4k monitor, set your display resolution to 2560x1440 or below!!!! -Set in-game resolution to 1280x768 -Aspect ratio then should be: 1.6666666666667 -Set "Monitors" to "1 Screen" -In VR tab set the "Pixel density" to 1, enable "Use DCS System Resolution" and "Crop to Rectangle" check boxes -Set in "OpenXR Toolkit" resolution to 70%. You can also try setting it higher, I had no issues in my tests with this parameter. However these are my settings. -Use Alt+Enter to enter the fullscreen mode when in a mission. Use OvGME for easy installation or install it manually by copying "Mods" folder to the root folder of the game. Use "Backup" folder within archive to revert the changes. P.S. Do not use scope zoom and rangefinder, they are not functional. Do not use them, they will mess up your aim! Keep it the range at 0000. Use VR zoom instead of scope zoom. If something doesn't work, try replicating my settings, presented in a screenshot below. We have just discovered with Hotdognz, that if you have 4k monitor, you need to set your display resolution to 2560x1440 or below. I've tried looking for the files used to center the sights but I'm not any kind of coder and it all looks like Russian to me. I will continue to use this mod but I'm going to have to use the guesstimation method to sight my targets until you can tell us how to center the retical.
