reported Wingmen won't engage

Hey guys,

encountered the following bug. Always repeatable in the Red Flag Day 3 mission in Nevada. I move to Battle Position South and order my flight to engage. No matter which command I use (Attack my target, Attack ground targets, Attack mission and rejoin) they will transmit unable and stay in formation (Screen attached). Comms channel is set fine, with a mission from the quick mission editor this works fine.

I cant get them to do anything on any mission either.

please include a track replay, wingmen seem to be engaging for me, are you on the correct frequency?

For me they refuse to do the assigned orders. The only order I can get them to do is their assigned mission and rejoin. Ill get a track later.

You are right, they are reluctant to follow commands. I will speak with the team about it.

Doesn't this relate to the proper radio channel. I believe at least in previous patch that wingman is at 121.50 and you are per default set at 127.5.

I would try to radio at 121.50 and try mission again.

Yes possibly, I have flagged that report to the team also.

If the channel was wrong wouldn't the "flight" comms option be greyed out?

And if the channel was wrong they wouldn't reply at all? The "unable" / "negative" shows that the frequency is correct at least, and that the correct radio is being used.

I'm the mission developer. Yes, the radios appear to be functioning. The "TACTICAL" frequency is 251 MHz - the default H-64D freq for the mission - and everybody seems to be "up" on it.

I've used those wingman commands with 3 other wingmen on another mission (SCUD Busters in Syria) and didn't have this problem in testing. So this is strange. 

Has anybody tried running this from ME and changed the start to "Takeoff from parking hot" and gotten the same result?

All I had to do is add in an additional unit. Ill try to reproduce it today, but I did the Marianas counterstrike mission a week ago with an MQ9 acting as JTAC and they quit engaging anything. Ill try to get that done today.
