FiveEightDelta Posted May 21, 2022 Share Posted May 21, 2022 (edited) I was doing some CCRP bombing practice with BDU-33s and for some reason the drop cue will randomly stop functioning after a drop or two. I noticed that it seems to be consistent after a cold and dark startup and you start attacking a TGP markpoint. In my mission trk I did a few runs on a stored steerpoint, designated a markpoint with the TGP and suddenly it just stopped working. Seems to be following the TGP. Had a similar issue with CCRP and CCIP a month ago where high drag munitions at low altitude were inaccurate but didnt save a trk. FiveEightDelta Posted May 21, 2022 Author Share Posted May 21, 2022 (edited) To add, when the drop cue stops functioning you can continuously press weapon release and drop all your ordinance regardless of your position to the target. Edit: After some additional testing regardless of cold / hot start on ground or flying start the bug surfaces. I tried changing SOI from HUD to TGP to FCR and sometimes the issue goes away and the fall cue works. I did also notice when your outside of the drop parameters you can almost guarantee drop ordinance over and over again as if it was CCIP. (Which I demonstrated at the end of the attached trk file. Could be fixed internally, but even your track I never noticed bombs not dropping off. I will leave it open if you have another idea to try, but for not, just one part reported. Thanks! As soon as the drop cue stops working there’s nothing stopping you from pressing weapon release and pickling a bunch of drops even if your nowhere over the target.
