We need this so so so so bad...  we got the F4 coming out..  and the Mig 17 I believe..  we already have the 21 and the 19    

i'll pay 100 dollars for it .. name your price 

at least do a North map.. like Hanoi and all the surrounding areas.. plus Yankee Station..

dont remember about DCS Intruder too (Heatblur) and A-7E (Flyingironsimulations), F-5E (ED) and for sure Huey (ED/Belsimtek)! We will have a lot stuff here.

About Vietnam map it was a lot of requests from years here, no one developer took it yet … Its most anticipated map for many of us. 

Fingers crossed, maybe Razbam takes this idea finally after the South Atlantic map, but if yes, it will be in next few years (if ED didnt block this map for themselves for someday).

I did (with some help and borrowings) near whole Vietnam map for P3Dv5 (100+ airports), for free, very big addon:

WOW nice..    are there multi play servers with this map?  how to DL this?

Thank You. Its finished but I didnt relesed yet, maybe this year but this is the topic about DCS Vietnam map (request for Razbam), not Lockheed Martin P3D  so let's not change the main subject.

There was a brief remark that after the South Atlantic map, they had so much fun doing it, they have considered others.  Someone mentioned Vietnam and there was a laugh and I believe we would like to try it if possible.  The interview was a while back when they were discussing the SA map.

They will get rich.. why would they laugh about that?   EVERYBODY will buy this map...

I should clarify, it was a chuckle, insinuating this was already being discussed at more than a idea level.  Nothing official though so I do not want to spread rumors.  However they said they had such a good time doing the SA map, they were interested in doing another one and opening RAZBAM to that sector of DCS.  Time will tell I suppose.  They conquered the size constraints with the SA map though for sure.  Vietnam is roughly 311,699 square kilometers vs the SA map at 3.1 million square kilometers.  I get a lot of that is water and the terrain is not densely populates, but they did pull off the size.  Now, if they could pull off a the Jungle and its assets, we are well on our way to the biggest requested map I believe DCS players have asked for.

I compared the total area of the upcoming KOLA map with a Southeast Asia map comprising all of North and South Vietnam, most of Laos, and a large section of Thailand and they are nearly identical in total area dimensions...
