cannot reproduce and missing track file Gun CCIP pipper A2G

Seems to be missing. Been a while since I last flown the Hornet, so obviously missing something important here in the cockpit obviously...

AG master mode/Guns selected/MA Armed/CCIP...at this point, shouldnt the pipper be displaying on the HUD? Need a refresh on my memory here, what did I miss?

Did you select GUN in the STORE page of the DDI?

I think it only displays once you're actually in a dive and in range. I don't remember, though, hadn't flown the Hornet in a while, but I'm pretty sure it won't show up in level flight.

Couldnt get the pipper to show up either in manual or CCIP while in A2G master mode.

What else had you been doing that flight? Any other weapon drops, did you rearm? etc

was doing the SLAMMER and JDAM program training mission. training portion was to inject LATLONG information into the targeting profile for those weapons and end the mission...except I took off and launched the weapons. Also tried to do some A2G guns stuff; put the Master Mode to AG, selected the gun from the MPCD, and put my nose down. Nothing came up on the HUD, just the usual NAV page you would normally see.

Did you UNSELECT the SLAM-ER and JDAM before you selected guns?  If you have another weapon selected you'll get hot guns mode with none of the normal HUD symbology.

the weapons were gone when I selected guns, but otherwise no.

It does not matter that you have dropped other stores. You need to de-select them on stores page, and than select gun. Otherwise its just like rob10 said - you are in gun hot mode, but with gun bore sight only, no CCIP.
