Not better, but certainly a very different terrain than what is currently available 🙂

Pretty cool so far. I think there may be a few elevation issues. This is just south of the Upsala Glacier.

Looks awesome! Is it (again) possible to buy this map on Steam and play it (after license transfer) on the Standalone-DCS-Version (Non-Steam, OpenBeta)?

you could also play steam openbeta.
if you are asking because of better pricing through steam, then forget my answer 🙂

Not because of the pricing, I just do not own a credit card and the payment through Steam via pre-paid-card is the only way for me - thats the only reason why I ask...

We also accept google pay on the eshop if that helps

thanks

Has anybody tried this with VR and of so what about performance? For me the Marianas is an absolute fps killer compared to Causasus or PG, wondering where this one is at

No real issues for me but others are saying different.

I do not want to be impolite, but that wasn't quite the answer. As I said, for me Steam-Pre-Paid is the only option, if this is still a possible way to buy this map than I will buy it, otherwise I will not. That is the only reason why I ask in advance... It has absolutely and honestly nothing to do with the pricing itself.

then you should stick to Steam version, and choose openbeta to be up to date with new releases and versions.
no need to go standalone 🙂

yes you can buy in Steam and then transfer the license in the ED account page, and run it on the ED Open beta version.
