Hello,
i was wondering if it wasn't a good idea of having the comms menu and PTT voicechat on the same radio/mic button, but have short press for menu and long press for actual PTT. On the modules i fly, those are seperate keybinds...

Any thoughts on this?

+1, it was something I requested here.

Right now the Viggen and JF-17 already have them.

On my warthog throttle, the comm hat-switch (thumb) is UP-Comm 1 DCS menu, DOWN-Comm 2 DCS menu, FORWARD-SRS PTT Comm 1, BACK-SRS PTT Comm2

This is rather necessary to make using the DCS voice chat feasible. Otherwise all the HOTAS buttons are already assigned to more useful things. But I think it’s something the module needs to incorporate and not the DCS core game. I don’t think the command menu by itself can be assigned long and short presses.
