twistking
Hello, i was wondering if it wasn't a good idea of having the comms menu and PTT voicechat on the same radio/mic button, but have short press for menu and long press for actual PTT. On the modules i fly, those are seperate keybinds... Any thoughts on this? 2 My personal wishlist after half a decade with DCS: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/184968-my-personal-wishlist-after-half-a-decade-with-dcs

FalcoGer
That's how I set up SRS. You can do that in SRS with the delay option.
Tailhook
On my warthog throttle, the comm hat-switch (thumb) is UP-Comm 1 DCS menu, DOWN-Comm 2 DCS menu, FORWARD-SRS PTT Comm 1, BACK-SRS PTT Comm2 Intel i9-13900K : ASUS TUF RTX 4080 : 32GB G.Skill RipjawsV 4000 : TM HOTAS Warthog : HP Reverb G2
SharpeXB
This is rather necessary to make using the DCS voice chat feasible. Otherwise all the HOTAS buttons are already assigned to more useful things. But I think it’s something the module needs to incorporate and not the DCS core game. I don’t think the command menu by itself can be assigned long and short presses. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | 24GB GeForce RTX 4090 | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR
