No, these are cold vehicles. You can see a hot one in top left corner. The rest of objects are like 0 Kelvin.

Thank you @Tholozor, as stated, placed objects have 0 heat. Either they need to be moving to build up heat, or if you late activate them, they have 100% heat. We are looking at solutions for placing heated vehicles. Thanks.

As I said, its being worked on still. Placed vehicles have nothing right now. We need at least some detail. But FLIR is still WIP.

Cold objects are not textured and standing out way more than hot objects. Terrein clutter makes FLIR useless.

yeah no, they are definitely inverted. you can't tell me those moving tanks at night are black hot. they are clearly white hot (the civilian traffic is black hot, however...)

I followed the advice of some people and gave the tank a "penalty run" for 10 minutes, and then it differentiated itself from the tanks that didn't move
The mission start time is 13:00. In the picture, I used GMT mode to lock the only moving tank. I don't know when the obvious change started.

A new question has arisen, how to make the vehicle get very hot when it is spawned?

Right now the only way is to do a late activation, and trigger their start. The caveat here is they come in full heat all over.

You need to supply a track or a mission. I have not seen them be inverted at all. Some vehicles are not completed, this will give the impression that they are showing inverted. But without a track or a mission I can only guess.

Don't mean to beat a dead horse here but is this really correct?  I couldn't see these guys until I got really close, like within 10 miles.  As someone else mentioned, it seems like the polarity of either the background or the vehicles is off.  I will say that when they explode, the smoke is the correct color.  I tried to get more screenshots but I must have kept hitting the wrong button (probably insert instead of print screen, I was going by feel).  These vehicles are from an older mission, but they are running, they're not static, and they'll move if a nearby vehicle is popped.  Maybe this is one of the vehicles not yet mapped in the new FLIR?  Just seems a little worse since the last patch.  Changing brightness and contrast on DDI doesn't help anymore.  Thanks!

Here is an example why screenshots are not great evidence. These two images are the same except for one thing, one is winter and -12C, the other is summer and 30C. The vehicles are just placed and cold. See the difference.

@NineLine  That's interesting.  So, I'm really not trying to be a smarta-- here, but are you saying that if you have a mission in summer that the TGP is pretty much useless?  If that's the case then so be it.  I'm guessing that your summer screenie is probably what's happening with me.  Like I said in my post, the explosions show up fine in black or white hot so it might not be a bug or a programming thing, but just a usability thing.  If I may ask, how would you go about finding a target from 20 miles out on a hot summer night?  Again, not trying to be smart, just trying to get clarification.  I do have a track but it's 96MB and probably would only show you what you just showed in your post above.  Anyway, thanks as always!

No, because if you turn it to TV/CCD they are right there. You have different modes for this reason, to be able to adapt. And again, these are cold vehicles, if they are in combat or on the move, they are going to be much more visible. I should note that these were daylight shots as well, the above screenshots.

Nighttime, no moon, 2 vehicles late activated one firing TV, BHOT and WHOT included.

This leads me to believe that some of the unarmed vehicles are missing their FLIR textures still, I late activated 2 other vehicles beside the AA and they do not show, so this is something to keep in mind, that not all vehicles might be done yet.
