Yeah there's loads of areas which look like they should be ice, dirt etc which are covered in grass.

It is and while probably not the same place, an example can be found at this camera position: -camera -305.720189 0.331880 -633.104509 -cameradir 0.818698 -0.182003 -0.544618 (if you copy this and press whatever you've got set for "Load camera position from clipboard" (default is RAlt + RCtrl + .) it'll take you to it).

They haven't really done any detail work on the mainland.  My guess is the computer algorithm that translated the satellite images just made it into white grass. My guess is razbam will have to go over and do it by hand.

It's the same on the islands - there's plenty of dirt/rocky areas that have grass on them, where it shouldn't be present.

It's also present on grass strips (which usually have much shorter, pressed down grass).

It's pretty useful.

There's also an "Unload camera position to clipboard" (default is RAlt + RCtrl + ,) which will generate the coordinates, which makes checking stuff really easy to check.

Thanks for your post.  As stated in the EA update, we have swapped focus back over to the mainland and hope to have these sorts of issues address early in EA.  As you can imagine this map is huge.

I found it on Falklands too, what looks like old rotten snow/ice from 300 feet,  is grass up close

Yep, same for some of the concrete/asphalt, rocks, the markings at some of the grass strips, sometimes rivers and streams.
