VIKBELL
I have a new Virple CM3 throttle quadrant. I followed the video . I have found that DCS not seeing the flap buttons. No sure what to do... schmiefel
1) did you map the physical set button actions on the axis to logical button numbers so that they get registered? 2) did you save the new configuration in the VPC Software back to the device before using it? And maybe check in the VPC testing tool that this worked. Then there shouldn't be a problem in assigning this in DCS. bclinton
I'm getting ready to do this to my CM3 throttle with the flaps lever. I understand how to assign the lever to buttons fine but I am not clear on how the lever will work to bring the flaps up and down. As I move the lever down the flaps should go down but when I move the lever back up how does DCS now that I am going int he up direction with the lever? Just trying to wrap my head around it before I actually program it.
imacken
Almost the exact same discussion going on here Customizing axis on CM3 throttle - VIRPIL Controls Hangar - VIRPIL Controls See the last few posts there, but basically, you bind a button for flaps up and a button for flaps down, and sometimes a button for half flaps, e.g. Hornet. Basically, 0-20%, 40-60% and 80-100% are the values I use. More complicated than that with A-10C though.
