Caldera
Hey All, Been bugging me... I think I understand that ATT Mode(s) are: 0-6 knots = Hover Mode 7-39 knots = Velocity Mode 40+ knots = Attitude Mode What is / does Attitude Mode for / do? Careos
Very sorry if I misunderstand your question. Attitude is the orientation of your craft on all axis. Sent from my SM-F711U using Tapatalk
Caldera
Careos, Thanks! Yes I get that. But I am confused. In a fixed wing aircraft that is a climb or a dive. In a helicopter??? Caldera
Careos
Don't think motion, think in space. If your nose is up, it's nose up attitude. The craft is irrelevant. So if you trim and orient the helo to fly straight and level, attitude hold will continue that.Sent from my SM-F711U using Tapatalk
Akiazusa
I think it works pretty much the same as one in the fixed wing aircraft. In pitch: climb or dive In roll: roll right or roll left The Attitude Mode will try maintaining you current attitude in both pitch and roll with in it's limit. Kyoto Animation forever! Caldera
Thanks Guys, I will goof around with it some more. When I did it seemed more like "Flight Stabilization" for than anything else. Does anyone know the actual purpose? Caldera
Razor18
It allows you to take your hands off the stick, and the helo will hold that attitude (pitch and roll). It is rather speed hold, because you can still increase or decrease altitude with collective, but speed will barely change.

But, that is basically what I had noticed as I perceived it to help with stabilization. However... I do notice that speed changes are not prevented. Possibly just dampened? Razor18
Speed changes by what? By changing collective?
