Hi, did anybody already found some animal locations on this map? I was looking for pinguins and whales but without luck. If anybody found those can you share locations please?

Or any interresting locations 🙂 post your screenshots and coordinates.

Many thanks.

If I tell you where the penguin is you're going to JDAM him into flightless fowl Heaven.

God, no! 😄 I am creating mission for sightseeing mission for Yak-52 around Falklands. You will be landing on all those land strips on different farms (found those thanks to this forum) and delivering mail or supplies or providing sightseeing flights...

As far as I can tell ATM there are only models for sheep and whales.

"Falklands\Models\Razbam_Animals\StructTable.sht" lists

• Sheep_Ram_01
• Sheep_01
• SA_Orca_01
• humpback_whale_01

Sheep can be found in the fields just north of Goose Green.

I haven't spotted any whales yet but apparently they are "Civilian Traffic", and Humpback Whales can be found in Stanley Harbour if Civ Traffic is set to HIGH.

I saw a Humpback my first flight but that's it.  I guess I'll ramp up the Civvie Traffic

The whales are for watching.

The sheep are for warmth and love after you get shot down. I mean, you know... you might be there for a while.

There are penguins at these locations:

S 52d 25m 40s W 59s 03m 05s (Island south of East Falkland, small group)
S 51d 25m 33s W 59d 00m 54s (North of San Carlos FOB, larger group)
S 51d 20m 04s W 58d 40m 07s (North-East of San Carlos FOB, several groups)
S 51d 40m 31s W 57d 46m 55s (Port Stanley, small group)

There was a beach with penguins and orcas offshore, within a short helicopter flight from San Carlos FOB. Either it has changed, I can't find it, or it was the one north of San Carlos and the orcas aren't there now.

Edit - location is north of San Carlos FOB (Middle Bay / Paloma Sand Beach on Google Maps), the orcas are still there in the early mission I created (windy weather, 9 June 1988), but I don't see them in a newer mission with calm weather set on 9 June 2022.
