Cockpit not loading + No inputs detected

When trying to use the Apache module today I noticed the cockpit was not rendering and none of my stick or keyboard inputs were working.

The only thing working were my headtracker inputs.

what I tried so far:

- reinstalling module
- dcs repair
- unplugging the headtracker
- try different missions in both sp and mp

Any more tips are welcome

I had this two times in the past, too. The cockpit wasn‘t renderd, like jour screenshot shows.

But a DCS full repair worked for me.

I‘m not sure what the cause, But I suspected it with graphics driver updates. Since then, I‘ll always do a full DCS repair after updating the graphics Drivers.

Try to delete the shaders folders in the savegames folder (metashader and fxo) after an update of the game engine or the GPU-drivers.

It will take a bit longer to load a scenery for the first time, while the shaders are recompiled but that may help and is general good practice.

Removing FXO and metashaders did not resolve the issue sadly.

Can you attach your

Hi,

please attach your dcs.log from your saved games dcs logs folder.

Let us know your system spec also.

Are you using SSD or HDD?

Thank you

Thanks,

how long do you wait during the start for the assets to load? It should take around 10 - 20 seconds for the cockpit and other resources to load usually.

Can you tell me how your pagefile is set? is it system managed or manually set?

I have waited up to 5 minutes to be sure.

The pagefile is automatically managed atm.

are you using any mods?

Just noticed

2022-07-06 18:45:21.802 ERROR   COCKPITBASE: ccLuaLoader::LuaDofile(L, "./Mods/aircraft/AH-64D/Cockpit/Scripts/device_init.lua"): Can't execute Lua file ./Mods/aircraft/AH-64D/Cockpit/Scripts/device_init.lua - can't open './Mods/aircraft/AH-64D/Cockpit/Scripts/config.lua'

Please try this go to Mods/aircraft/AH-64D/Cockpit/Scripts/config.lua'
delete it
then try a slow repair again
once complete test again.

Please also check your antivirus / security is not creating a problem

I do not use mods, most I did was update the missionscripting.lua to enable persistence when using foothold. this has been reset during the repair anyway.

just to recap:
- I removed the config.lua
- I ran the slow repair

The result is the same.

I included the newly generated log file.

Maybe important to add, the external module is rendered completely and immediatly. it's only in the f1 view where the issue occurs and the fact I can not use any aircraft inputs.
