reported Broken textures

Some Mustang liveries have normal textures, like Desert Rat for example.

But some textures are broken, most likely those made later, like my custom livery.

It looks like two different textures are overlapping with each other, and some details are missing, like those small grey scratches.

But when I look at texture files in Photoshop, everything appears to be right.

Also, in this screenshot I made in April of 2021 textures seem ok.

So it looks like something happened meanwhile that spoiled custom liveries.

It is caused by using official texture template as a base for custom skins, which is based on the old model.

The old model had wrong lines on the wings and probably more.

Oh, I realize now from some older screenshots that it was like this from the beginning. I don't know why didn't I noticed it before. So Mustang really is an ugly stepchild of DCS.

Ah interesting, so our official template needs updated? I can report this if yes. Thanks.

The 1st picture is from current template downloaded today from ED site.

It has smaller ammo bay lines (like the P-51A/B/C), smaller gun bay.

 

The 2nd shows current skin directly from game folder, Miss Velma, it is based on "newer" base or whatever..

It has correct volume for ammo bay and gun bay looks more corresponding with real one.

Am not sure about fuselage part.
