Cockpit is almost pitch black, can barely see anything. Reinstall didn't fix.

It IS a dark cockpit though. I adjusted the brightness a bit via reshade.

But I think they already adressed, that this will be tuned in a future patch.

But they are too dark, they used black texture simply so for example in VR its hard a little to spot something in the cockpit. Normaly developer shoud use dark grey textures, not black (or correct it by background textures like alpha or spec files) - see Mirage 2000 of Razbam for example or "black" panels of HB's F-14. Its an issue according me and should be fixed soon, I hope.

please be aware that there is an issue with  game getting dark (in any module) right after loading a mission that is "solved" by reloading the mission. Have you guys tried that?

and the Developer already acknowledged that he will adress the dark cockpit issue.

I hope they can fix that cokpit dark, it's very annoying not being able to distinguish the switches, even the light with alt+l doesn't seem to work.

You are right. For the time being, you can play with gamma, brightness and contrast to make it a bit more accessable.

There is mod for this 

to fix it temporary, however fingers crossed for official fix too, pls VERY soon

Glad it's being addressed. So far it's been a fantastic release IMO. 

You can tell it's definitely a cockpit issue because even the handheld flashlight needs new batteries...

It's marked as solved, but the issue is still there... really makes it hard to enjoy the module without a texture mod.

I asked for the 'solved' tag because the OP solved his issue (gamma was way too low on his PC).

A fantastic cocpkit texture mod by MYSE1233 is already available (link above).
