Virpil USA is a great one. Ordered a CM3 Throttle 2 weeks ago but shipping from their center in Europe I believe. It would be easier to get future products with the USA store.

That’s awesome and right on time because I’m upgrading my Throttle to the CM3 got the go ahead to so. I want to order this week but may wait til open up the US branch. Gonna read it now thanks !

Also just learned the WMR pass through / Flashlight mode for the G2 may start putting together some extra panel also.

Maybe ok for US residents, but Canada and Mexico are probably better off using the regular store.

Not really been that long, I pre-ordered the CM3 in Dec 2020 and took delivery in Jan 2021. They have hinted on a new T-50 base coming though so we know that at least is next.

Well I’m not sure really, I have that kinda luck when you buy something the new model comes out a few weeks later.

Three way switches like the boat switch on the hog throttle or the three way switches like on the base of the hog throttle. There are a number of aircraft that have three way switches like the viper with the dogfight/missile override, auto pilot modes, etc..or like the boat switch for FLIR modes in the Hog. Also an actual analogue rotary axis for your thumb instead of the rotating one that activates via button actions. Good for proper antenna elevation in the viper. The CM3 throttle is excellent but there is some room for improvement.

I take your point, but these 3 way switches are too module specific for a generic throttle, and have no functionality that can't be achieved with a 'normal' switch using DCS binds. For example, the Viper dogfight 3 way switch has dogfight/center and missile override/center binds which give the same functionality as the 3 way dogfight/center/missile override switch.

I agree that having 2 analogue dials instead of the current button activated encoders would be a big boost. (As an aside, convert your rotary dials to axes. That goes a long way towards having analogue dials, but funnily enough, doesn't work well with the Viper antenna elevation know for some reason.  Works nicely with HUD or HMD brightness, etc. though.)

Yep, you are right about it being achieved with the other switches and that is how I have it set up. It is possible but not optimal in my opinion. A three way boat switch is immediately easy to tell what position/mode it is in by feel. The flagship modules for DCS all have three way switches on the throttle; Viper, Hog, Hornet (I think). Seems like incorporating at least one on the throttle itself and a couple on the base wouldn't be a bad thing.

Me too! It's about 50 miles though. Ordered a virpilWRB and it only took 5 days and 2 of those were the weekend. I also live so close the shipping was overnight, it wasn't marked as overnight its just not that far.

It came with a note telling me to drop by the showroom .....MUST STAY AWAY for the sake of my wallet. lol

Can't answer to (a) but can empathize, however regarding (b) that is how their ordering process now works. Usually it will show a back order status, but once they have the order it does not take too long for it to process and ship, usually around couple of weeks sometimes less. Not seen enough yet from the USA store to see what their timing is like. I am not crazy about how they list it as back order as that can lead to customers thinking well they don't have it now so I will check later... when it will always show that at the min.

That's pretty funny . My order came from Lithuania to central US in 3 days , 2 of which were over the weekend .

The good part is that when you order , you're reserving a place in line for that item . My (2) items were shipped 3 weeks after placing the order . Couldn't be simpler .

I was expecting a delay from all the chatter on the Internets but like I said the entire process from ordering to having it at my door was only 5 days . Maybe I was lucky but I'm not complaining.
