Chaprot
hello friends, it seems to me that the indications given by the ILS are reversed during the approach on Vaziani TAC 22X- ILS108.75. Is it a bug or a nonsense of the Mirage F1 of the time? Edited July 30, 2022 by Chaprot no text joint
Ala13_ManOWar
That appears to be the glide path, not the azimuth. Or not even that, you're too damn low in your approach, I don't think that glide path is too bad at all . Chaprot
You are right Ala13_ManOWar, in fact my dislexia has been detrimental to me (sorry). The correct trajectory should be "up" "right" heading 310° and not "down" "left" indicated.

The fact that some VORs actually work reversed, and they also revert every time you change from To to From isn't helping either. Chaprot
Indeed I found that the bug comes from DCS, some ILS ex: including Vaziani which has the same frequency for runways 13/31.... For other airfields it works normally. Sorry for the inconvenience!
malarcky
I have the same problem with the F-16, its like the ILS its inverted, can anyone confirm? Edited September 30, 2022 by malarcky
gulredrel
As described above, some ILS behave strangely. Try Kobuleti with winds at ground from north easterly direction 4 m/s minimum, so that RW 07 is active. ILS 111.50 MHz works for me on every module I own. Tiger Lead
This thread has been inactive for quite a while but, having experienced the frustration of putting an hour or more into creating and trying to shoot an ILS landing that fails, I appreciate the hint to use Kobuleti. Sadly, it failed me today--likely from operator error. My question is, does anyone else know of any other combination airports, winds and runways on the other maps so I/we can get some variety of scenery and weather while trying to train? Thanks. gulredrel
Syria map RAF Akrotiri RW 28 also works, when this is the active runway. Nellis in Nevada RW 21. Key is having enough wind in the right direction. ( > 3 or 4 m/s )
Tiger Lead
Thanks for the reply! Hopefully others have "secret combinations" that they'd be willing to share as well
