Furious
Can someone explain the purpose of this switch? At a loss - Which is A and M? do I need to switch this depending on which missile type is selected. Does M stand for Matra - but then what does A stand for? Cheers

gulredrel
I had the switch in the off / arret position and was able to fire the wingtip missiles today. Question remains for me, when do I need this switch in the on / marche position?
IvanK
You need it to get cooling etc going in the missile, plus in the R550 get its internals running.

Thought it so. Maybe I switched it on / off or whatever. Not really sure. Messed around with the weapon selector panel.
Furious
OK, so it's not a selection switch (ie matra or sidewinder) but a simple on/off for both missile types Thanks!

Oh, is this the case? I've tried launching both Magics and Sidewinders with the switch in both positions, so I was also unsure what this was about. Are we saying that by default you should always switch this on for cooling to the missiles? I had thought I'd seen in Redkite's video tutorial that he said it was a 550 or Aim9 switch? CrazyGman
I'm fairly certain it's not currently implemented. Had it both positions starting a flight in multiplayer with both missiles. Works regardless of position. Edited October 3, 2022 by CrazyGman
