Cali how many Crew Chiefs for a fighter launch? We usually had 2, the primary CC and a "wipe" Anothe thing I'd really like to be able to include in missions is EOR checks. I was even a B-man on a few F-16 launches, that was fun while TDY. Sometimes there might have been 3, if they were training a new one. Cali
Not to mention the specialist sleeping in launch trucks waiting for "red balls" or "red streaks" or whatever they are called now. They are still called red balls and who sleeps in those trucks :music_whistling:. Had a little fun with the specialist on Friday. My airman was blinding them with our mirror. He also covered his head with a rubber glove....got a picture of that. Anyway, by this time tomorrow I should have a few pictures. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED

smnwrx
Yep! It just wouldn't be right without expediters turning endless laps around Nellis in these things. An AGE ready line would be cool. As an ex loader I always got a kick out the bomb trailors in falcon4. Not very realistic but they made for good targets.

Sierra99
I found this... http://www.dtic.mil/get-tr-doc/pdf?AD=ADA412045 On the web. It lists specific AGE requirements by airframe along with AGE requirement that are not airframe specific. you can see what kind of AGE say a An A-10 requires then Google those items for pictures. Would it help if I was able to get some photos of different equipment with a "photo stick" included? gary [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Primary Computer ASUS Z390-P, i7-9700K CPU @ 5.0Ghz, 32GB Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 @ 3200Mhz, ZOTAC GeForce 1070 Ti AMP Extreme, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVMe drives (1Tb & 500 Gb), Windows 10 Professional, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Thrustmaster Warthog Stick, Thrustmaster Cougar Throttle, Cougar MFDs x3, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals and TrackIR 5. -={TAC}=-DCS Server Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3, i7-3770K CPU @ 3.90GHz, 32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 @ 1600Mhz, ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 970. mvsgas
They stopped using two man launches a while back in most USAF bases ( 2011 IIRC) depends on aircraft. Also, many aircraft do not use a "power cart" for engine start up. Power carts for USAF are -60 http://s915.photobucket.com/user/scottr5213/media/3991170587_765224abe7_z.jpg.html and -86 on this picture starting on the left, Nitrogen cart ( self generating, meaning it separates nitrogen from normal air) air cart (can't remember the name) -86 and a second air cart click on image to enlarge. To find more you can Google "USAF Aerospace Ground Equipment (A.G.E.)" EOR check are normally done by several crews and are normally one crew chief and two weapons specialist (loading and unloading weapons specialist, not weapons build and maintenance known as AMMO, they don't like to be confuse for some reason, LOL) Edited February 15, 2015 by mvsgas To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.
