Hi, I noticed than on Steam no any discount now. What's heppend? I see regular price, much higher than in ED store. Before (so after release) the price was the same .... 🤭

No discount - 20%, is it over?

See https://steamdb.info/app/2071330/ and check LOWEST RECORDED PRICE

  • YoYo changed the title to Steam Version of F1, big jump of the price?

Ok, so it looks like a price mess of ED, not Aerges? I think Aerges has to inform about it ED, I think Steam sales are stuck ☺️.

According me, more prices on the Steam has the same problem (for example Hind etc). So strange. :worthy:

They have to pay more attention to the price policy and the end dates of the sale of EA, which are still going on in the ED store.

Hmm, I see the problem of price still, so is this the intended effect that no EA discount on the Steam?

What happens with the Hind (EA on standalone but not on Steam) is that it receives a 30% discount in Steam sales, while on standalone it receives a 20% Early Access discount all year.

IIRC ED have said it's a limitation of selling on Steam.

AFAIK the price is set by ED and Aerges, what Steam will not allow is setting an "indefinite" discount that might mislead buyers into thinking they are making a saving over the "regular/retail" price, when they are not i.e. a 50% saving on a ticket price that's never been charged to any buyer ever.

Considering how overpriced it is for anyone but Ukrainians and Mexicans, it'd take a great big discount for it to end up at a fair price, anyway. Even with a 20% discount I would've had to pay as much as they're asking for a non-discounted Tomcat (which is more sanely adjusted for purchasing power and not directly converted from USD price).

A good part of why I'm on Steam is to avoid being screwed over on the exchange rates in the ED store.
