Pixelated Clouds ??wtf

Recommended Posts

Helou Guys

DCS Stable 2.7.16. 28.157

Nvidia drivers 516.94

Pc Spec:

I-7 7700K

32G raam ddr 4

GTX 1064 6gb ram

Asus Z270 Gamin M6 ac

From the beginning I have a problem with clouds in DCS. They are Pixelated. I tried changing the settings. No effects. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Is it supposed to be this way? On a 50 inch screen it looks terrible.  It is the same on the smaller one. Tried changing Nvidia drivers. No effects. Can anyone tell me how to properly set up Nvidia drivers for DCS? Meybe that's the problem?

Regards

Beyker

Please let us know your DCS settings and your resolution, and also let us know if you are using ultra clouds or not.

Also please add your NVDIA control panel settings

thanks

Hi,

fist I would say your NVIDIA control settings are possible conflicting with the DCS settings. Try setting let the application decide in the NVIDIA control panel

Added my settings below

With 2.8 - in VR - clouds which are away from the player are very pixelated and jittering all the time, regardless of clouds settings, even on high

....not only in VR. Since 2.8, these clouds in the distance look like from the "8-bit era". Best to watch them fly by in F3. I never had that in the previous versions.
