How do fighter jet pilots manage to remember the picture calls when you get 2 Groups

i just played mission 13 and I never could remember all informations of the picture AWACS report when they had to groups. What’s your technique to remember this ?

Training. The more you train to remember a set of numbers, the easier it will get.

My technique is Escape -> Message History

But of course I'm not a fighter pilot

I keep a pin and a note book Next to me. helps with CASE 3 recoveries to and other details that I will need to Know down the line. I call it my Kneeboard.

There is an awesome thing called OpenKneeboard (works in 2D and in 3D as well) which automatically adds briefings, custom kneeboards and all the comms history there, so you can browse all that while flying. Can't recommend it enough. In fact I think I will record a short video to show it off soon!
