Stupid Question - How to disable HP Reverb G2 Passthrough??

As per the title, how do i disable/turn-off the HP Reverb G2 Passthrough??

Too many flights now I have been 1 hour plus into a mission only to somehow inadvertantly have the passthrough come up in the middle of the screen. I cant turn it off or see through it so i'm left with no option but to abort the game and my progress in the mission.

How can I prevent if from happenng please, or if it pass through mode does come on, how do I turn it off?

For info I do not use the hand controllers at all and dont want too, so hope I can do it without.

Many thanks

For me, I say 'torch off' and it turns it off 🙂

Torch on / off (depending on whether you want it on or off.

Did do a google and tried that but it didnt do anything. I wondered if the fact i'm running voice attack has caused any issue?

I dont even know what I did to turn it on?

Very frustrating. I would just like to turn it off altogether.

Yeah I had this happen a few days ago also and actually didn’t know the G2 had this feature. I was told to say Flashlight on to enable it and Flashlight off to disable it. It’s actually pretty useful and I didn’t disable it in WMR speech recognition, I believe that’s where you can disable it but not sure what else it will disable either. But yeah I have no idea what turn it on that day because I did not say those a commands nor did I touch any control keys.

here another link about it.

Thanks Burt.

Easy enough as it turned out to disable speech recognition in WMR, so have gone for that option.

A long press on the windows button on the G2 controllers will bring up the wmr overlay, you can turn the torch on and off there if required. Just not using voice would be simpler🙂

I use VoiceAttack * VAICOM and use the word 'torch off' whenever it has appeared for me. I'm assuming VA (and/or VAICOM) might therefore be picking that one up. I've not delved into it to actually confirm that for you.

Like I said in the other forum  https://forum.dcs.world/topic/306260-see-your-pit-in-vr-mod/ , if you turn off the wmr focus window (by pressing WIN+Y on the keyboard) the voice control will not work .

You wil notice that WMR focus window is not active because you will not see a blue line in the top of your monitor while WMR is running.

Also you can instruct windows mixed reality not to hear your headset by disaling the voice recognition in the WMR control panel
