Question - DCS liberation campaign mission -how to get wingman to attack?

How to get AH-64 wingman to attack gnd targets...In different missions, while flying toward enemy targets on relatively flat terrain in syria i order my wingman to attack targets of opportunity or to cover me...In most cases, it says unable or just keeps flying i formation...How to get wingman to attack?

Do i have to edit mission file (the one generated by dcs liberation dynamic campaign) and edit it and add attack tgts in zone or something?

I'm having the same issue, so im gonna bump this for hopefully some sort of solution. I've been getting mixed results at best with my wingman, and I think that it has something to do with it using a copycat of the KA-50 AI. Just a theory though

Check the set frequency in the mission editor and if the wingman is in the same group you are.

I thought about this too, but in his OP @hreichsays the wingman responds with "unable"

So it's not a freq (or group) issue

I haven’t tried the Apache in a Liberation campaign yet, but I have a hard time getting the ai or wingman in any aircraft to do anything useful now.

Didn’t use to be this way, I wonder what changed? It’s kind of put me off Liberation, which is a real shame.

After i found about this little masterpiece  , i am able now to obliterate 20+ vehicles on one mission...Ordering escort apache and also my wingman who now attacks properly...Don't know how, but like this mod made my wingman smarter (i am not talking about escort pilot)
