A Stuka would be so nice in DCS!

I'd love to have one as well, but I believe there are better choices for the late-war west-europe ww2 environment that DCS currently provides, as it would be tough editing believable missions for it.

Yeah probably - still I'd love to see one in DCS some day

Also it would be nice to get some more early war birds and stuff.

I voted Thud, but a Hawker Hunter would be a great shout if you are looking for something historical, versatile and prolific, not to mention one of the best lookers too.

What is everyone's fascination with the F-104?

Speaking only for myself, I don't even find it pretty to look at.

I never found it particulary good looking in the past. A bent rocket with stump wings. But over the time it grew on me. It has very simplistic clean aesthetics that just scream "speed".

My problem with it is of different nature. It is VERY purpose build. Get high fast and get fast fast, sling missiles and GTFO. At least that is my understanding of it (limited of course). And just for me that doesn't seem a very interesting mission profile in DCS.

"Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

F-104, the earlier/lighter the better. Like late 1950s USAF F-104A used in combatby Pakistan and Taiwan. Or multirole F-104C with refuel probe. Or 1967 F-104A reengined with J79-GE-19 with the most ridiculous performance.

F-105 obviously. The eralier/faster the better.

Honestly I'm not that motivated by that list (even though my Grandfather designed the jet intakes on the T33/F80) .  I'd rather see a full fidelity MIG/SU.  Now as @Araks suggested, the P-38 would be awesome! (Another aircraft my Grandpa helped bring to life).

Maybe even help the awesome A4 module become a thing we can use in multiplayer.  Adopt the A4 as a free module like the TP-51/SU-25 to get more people into the scene.

I’m hoping for something weird. That no one else would bother to make. We’ll get the 104 and 105 eventually. But it’s unlikely we’d ever see a T-33 or the interceptor version F-94 which in my opinion is the most beautiful jet ever made. Probably not a great business case for it but I didn’t know the G 91 existed until IFE announced it and I’ll still buy that.

"Once upon a time, there was..." Rockwell OV-10 Bronco. Light attack and observation plane. Twin-turboprop, and - quite unique - ejector seats. Famous during the Vietnam era and once available for MSFS and great fun to fly. Really something special!. Saw one, undergoing restorations at Duxford, a few years ago. Registered, as far as I recall, in Germany.

Thanks Glanky - I too seldom visit the forum, obviously. Nice mod, BUT the cockpit and gauges... Well we`ll see.
