Как заказали так и сделали. :) Если разные ветви заказывают по разному, то унификация это третий контракт.

Inertial measurement unit. It senses the APKWS II pitch, roll, and yaw and transmits that information to the autopilot

 

What does the autopilot do?

The autopilot uses the IMU and seeker data to calculate required wing positions, which are sent to the CAS which moves the flaperons to guide the target.

 

Where are the laser seeker optics located and what doe they do?

They are located on the forward edge of each of the four wings and receive laser energy reflected from the target. The laser energy is transmitted via fiber optics to the seeker electronics which determines the target angle.

The electronic thermal battery indicator which activates the capability for the thermal battery to be initiated upon firing. It aligns the explosive train used to initiate the battery. It's a manual switch on the outside of the missile which must be turned on or else the APKWS won't have guidance capabilities (it will fire like a regular 2.75" rocket).

Это APKWSII с EO и системой управления устанавливающаяся практически на любой гражданский грузовик.
