I am not sure if it is the best, I use "Tacca's NVG mod"

Just passed this thread looking for another thing.

A decent VR mod should show the cockpit very blurry, as the NVGs is set to more or less infinite focus. 

 

NVG do not see NVIS adopted MFDs, and what can be seen is blurry.

I only use this modification, search at  "your main game path"\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\shaders\PostEffects  the file NVD_HDR.fx and inside seach the line 

#define FOCUS_DISTANCE 10.0

and change the value that says 10.0 to 0.0

And that is all, you´ll see your NVG clear and cristal, only must adjust the brightness , and can see the MFDs and read all the labels and instruments.
