Makla26
Just started mission 14 on DCS 2.8 and after the S-3s takeoff, Sledge 22 and Sledge 24 taxi too close to each other so they can't move and no other aircraft can takeoff.
baltic_dragon
Thanks. I recently upadted the mission and sometimes with re-saving between versions some AI flights loose their "uncontrolled" status... which I suspect is the problem here (sigh). Thanks for reporting! Pac-man_
I know you are already aware of the issue, I just wanted to let you know I have had the same issue.
baltic_dragon
Yes it is reported. But I have to wait for ED to fix a few core DCS bugs that affect most of the missions before I even can begin troubleshooting (sigh)
psiphere
Started this mission after update, this bug still occured. Seems it's not fixed in the recent OB update like some other bugs(e.g. the AI orbit bug).
baltic_dragon
Sorry, my fault - missed the OB deadlines and didn't send the fix in. I might just post this mission for separate download so that you and others don't have to wait too long to continue.
baltic_dragon
Hey guys, this is now internally fixed!

Reflected
FWIW I see this same bug with Tomcats in my campaigns too, it's an AI pathfinding bug. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
baltic_dragon
Because the AI pathfinding on a supercarrier is a complete quagmire just as spawn logic. I will check again but it looks like a lottery...
baltic_dragon
@Robsongois I tried it a few times and all worked fine for me, they all took off. Try again, hopefully it was a one-off AI quirk.

Ran this mission probably 10 times and it never happened... And if I start playing with it I am sure it will only get worse knowing the AI. Still, I will try..
