Crashes after approx 20min of gameplay

I've been having frequent crashes with the last two patches after approx. 20min of flight time. This crash also effected my flight lead who was also in a F/A-18 at the same time, leading me to think this is not a error on my end.

During the latest crash, there was no input other than flight controls to maintain attitude and the aircraft was in A/G mode with HARMs selected on stores page. System is running the latest nvidia drivers.

I'm having the exact same issue, it is super frustrating. After these last few patches I've had crash to desktops or complete lock ups (need to kill DCS via task manager) after 20-30 minutes. I submit the game crash logs each time, so hopefully they're looking into it. 

 

So far I can't complete any single mission without a crash. The last one was a simple refueling from a tanker in an F-16, rolling off to go intercept two Mig-25's. Just flying, no view changes or touching anything, game crash.

Sometimes, when I'm reading this section of the forum, I wonder how it would look like in the street: a man asks someone for help with his car which won't start, then another comes in and say "yeah, my car won't start either!"... and then a third one...

Please create your own thread when reporting a crash issue. It is always easier to merge threads when we discover they are related than dealing with many people with different issues in the same thread. Thank you.

@Chiwie @ScAvenger001  If you had AI F-14 units going RTB when your DCS froze, it's probable you had the Tomcat freeze issue as @pixie thinks.

I'll see what I can do to help ED/Heatblur tackle this bug.

Flappie I had a look at the tacview and did not find any F14A/B recovery ops during the time frame of the crash.

When it's a comparable issue I think it makes sense, as strength in numbers rather than 50 individual reports.  I'm here because I also have a similar issue, free flight at Syria (f-16) sudden unexpected freeze and CTD after approx 20 mins while just cruising/sightseeing hands off stick etc. All 3 times I've tried the same flight now, in the north, south, and east of the map.

All 3 of you guys, post your DXDIAGs as a text file of sorts(not a wall of text) lets take a gander. A quick try if you guys dont mind,

Make a mission with just yourself no units Just what ever plane and fly for however long it usually takes for you to crash(in the situation where you crash currently) To see if its an issue with that specific mission OR your game. If it crashes, we can start looking at your side of the field, If it doesn't we'll look closer at that mission(s) thats causing this issue.
